Financial Systems Support Analyst (SUN Systems)

Role Purpose

A new opportunity has arisen within the IT Support – Finance team to provide comprehensive support for finance systems across the Menzies network. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of financial systems, with a strong focus on Infor SUN Systems Financials, iPOS, and Expense At Work.

What you will be doing

• Participate in finance system builds and implementations for acquisitions and startups, including data migration, user training, and system settings.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to implement business deliverables.
• Resolve complex user issues through in-depth analysis and coordination with third-party vendors for resolution.
• Work closely with vendors to support system enhancements, integrations, and updates.
• Ensure all user manuals and instructional documents are accurate, up to date, and effectively support end users.
• Create, modify, and delete user profiles within finance systems, ensuring appropriate access and compliance with internal controls.
• Monitor and manage support tickets in ServiceNow, assigning tickets to the correct team or escalating when necessary. Maintain accurate updates within the system.
• Assist in the collection and submission of data for quarterly and annual internal and external audits.
• Update and maintain finance system approval matrices, verifying proper authorisation is received prior to changes.
• Proactively learn new and existing systems that support financial operations, staying ahead of system changes and upgrades.
• Support other finance and system-related tasks and projects as needed.

What we are looking for

Essential:

• Experience with SUN Systems Financials.
• Previous experience working in an accounting or finance department.
• Strong understanding of financial systems administration.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities.

Desirable:

• Experience with other financial systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP S4HANA, Oracle).
• Experience in training end users on system functionality.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
