Role Purpose

The FOH Manager is responsible for the business interests and day-to-day operational performance of the Front of House department at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport. Moreover, the job holder expects to develop and implement business and organizational measures for the department in accordance with established goals, budget and separate agreements with the station manager.

The department generally consist of some 200+ employees.  The customer base is multiple, with a wide variety and complexity of operations and product offering, although the principal service provided will be ground handling. FOH consist of the departments check in, arrival and gates.

 

What you will be doing

  • Maintain and nurture the customer relationship for the benefit of Menzies Aviation. Cooperate with the airport authority and other relevant organisations.
  • Responsible for day operation performance, safety & security and customer satisfaction of the product through effective support and management of the department's delivery. Ensuring Safety & Security procedures are according to standards set within Menzies Aviation policy and according to international Aviation standards.
  • Responsible for the work environment for the department and that the production is carried out in accordance with adequate laws and regulations.
  • Implementing measures for effective training and development, performance and potential and relevant successful plans. Ensure development of employees who are related to the department's other goals, plans and ensure that the department work accordingly to Menzies routines and policies. Improving delivery of Menzies Aviation products and service through developing a motivated and skilled team
  • Monitoring performance of key customer SLA´s identify gaps, plan and resource effectively to fill them including contingency planning.

What we are looking for

  • The role requires a proven manager with a strong operational and business understanding. The FOH manager play a key role in building positive culture, leading and inspiring the FOH department.
  • Substantial operational management experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of aviation services, in particular passenger handling.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English
