Role Purpose

Safely and effectively complete turnaround of the flight, in accordance with policies and procedures. Perform task
with a high services level to our customers and their passengers, responsible for gate- and airport equipment
needed to complete tasks. Always perform tasks in a professional manner.

Special attention must me paid to safety and on time performance.

What you will be doing

To carry out all Ground Handling related activities as directed by the Company through its policies, procedures and training to facilitate the success of the operation in relations to training received, including the following:

  • Perform check-in of passengers as per MA and Airlines' procedures, and in accordance with the agreed
    SLAs, and the relevant training received.
  • Prepare the flight details prior to the opening of check-in as per airline requirements.
  • Check passengers' tickets/confirmation together with relevant identification appropriate to flight, in
    accordance with the relevant training received.
  • Check in hold baggage and follow procedures for hand baggage whilst complying to the relevant Triple
    AAA procedures as laid down by the Department of Transport, and in accordance with the relevant training
    received.
  • Follow procedures for passengers with regards to the acceptance of Dangerous Goods in accordance to
    regulations laid down by the ICAO and IATA.

What we are looking for

  • Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Good Knowledge of use of computer as a tool, as well as all other communications tools (SITA, radios,
    etc.) 
  • To be able to understand and follow instructions sent by direct superiors and MA management team, and
    to be capable to take fair decisions in accordance with the job description. 
  • To be able to work in a team, under pressure and sometimes under conflicting situations. 
  • To be able to communicate with the staff from other departments in order to resolve problems during
    working hours and under pressure.
