Role Purpose

This postholder will report to the Senior Vice President (People Projects & Integrations) and will work closely with HR colleagues and functional leaders across Group business. The role provides expert, day‑to‑day HR advice, guidance and coordination across the employee lifecycle, supporting managers and employees to navigate people matters in line with Group policies, employment law and best practice.

The postholder will play a key role in employee relations, policy application, case management and Group HR operational support, acting as a trusted advisor and play an essential role in the management of Group employee records with exceptional attention to detail and data security. The role will also contribute to HR projects and initiatives led centrally, supporting consistent implementation across the Group.

For clarity, this is a broad generalist role requiring the successful candidate to operate at a business partnering level while also undertaking HR coordination responsibilities.

 

What you will be doing

  • Deliver a combination of HR Business Partnering support and hands-on HR coordination and administrative activity to the Menzies Aviation Group team, ensuring efficient execution of processes alongside the provision of high-quality HR advice.
  • Provide practical, professional HR advice to Menzies Aviation Group team members across all stages of the employee lifecycle, ensuring fair, consistent and compliant outcomes.
  • Act as a key point of contact for Group employees and managers on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary, grievance, absence management, redundancy and employee welfare cases.
  • Support and guide managers through HR processes, ensuring correct application of Group policies and procedures and escalation of more complex matters where required.
  • Advise on and support the delivery of people related change activities, working alongside senior HR colleagues and functional leads to ensure changes are implemented effectively and sensitively.
  • Support performance and talent processes by providing guidance on process, policy and best practice.
  • Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with integrity, professionalism and discretion at all times.
  • Manage the administration of all Group employee-related documentation in line with GDPR and internal governance standards.

What we are looking for

  • Experienced HR professional, ideally with relevant professional qualification with strong advisory experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Experience operating in an HR role that blends Business Partnering support with a high volume of HR coordination and administrative activity.
  • Experience of operating effectively within a complex, fast-paced global matrix organisation.
  • Sound and up-to-date knowledge of employment law practices, with the ability to apply your employment law understanding to other jurisdictions.
  • Proven experience advising on employee relations cases in a fair, structured and commercially balanced way.
  • Strong attention to detail and a process‑driven, methodical approach to HR work.
  • Comfortable working independently while knowing when to escalate or seek guidance on complex matters.
