Role Purpose

Reporting to the Head of Airside to manage the stores facilities stock rotation & Ground Service Equipment to ensure effective and efficient supply of stock and equipment to meet the operational needs whilst maintaining compliance to procedures and competent authority regulations. To manage the GSE Operations in accordance with Menzies Aviation and the relevant manufacturers work specifications at Menzies.

What you will be doing

  • Ensure all GSE is compliant and within the Menzies Aviation and AGS specification, manage contractors to ensure all GSE is subject to the appropriate preventative maintenance within the set intervals and CAP 642 inspections.
  • Manage and negotiate with suppliers to reduce overall repair costs for the Menzies Fleet.
  • Manage third party suppliers in the collection and delivery of Airline linen.
  • Ensure the Stores unit is maintained to a high safety standard Comply with all COSHH requirements.
  • Advise management of any impending workload difficulty in any area.
  • Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control. Analise and interpret trends to facilitate planning.

  • Good verbal communication.
  • Knowledge of airport GSE would be adventitious.
  • A full 5 year work/unemployment/education history.
  • Valid Passport
  • Proof of National Insurance
  • Proof of address
  • Full and valid UK Driving Licence
  • Criminal Record Check and Airside Security Clearance
