Role Purpose

As Head of Operational Training, Business Continuity & Emergency Response you will be responsible for the timely delivery, implementation and execution of the Menzies Aviation Learning Development Policy and ensuring we have robust Business and Emergency Continuity Plans to manage operational disruption across Europe. You will work closely with the sub-regional teams in delivering the best in class service and standards when it comes to the tactical implementation and delivery of our operational training requirements. You will support the regions in designing annual training plans which are realistic and deliverable, ensuring all employees can be released from the operation in a timely manner to undergo the necessary training. Ensure the training teams have the correct facilities, tools, training and guidance to deliver.

What you will be doing

Work closely with regional operational teams, utilising the most appropriate structures, tools, approach and delivery models to address operational training business challenges and requirements
Deliver or facilitate onsite safety related training courses to the regional risk teams, including in-depth Risk
Assessment and Investigation training to our operational risk teams
Provide training support and guidance to the operational risk teams in how to write, produce, develop, implement and bring to life RA's, LOPs, ERPs and BCPs
An experienced and competent trainer who can deliver and upskill both station training coordinators and station line trainers to become TTT
Champion, deliver and upskill people in the delivery of our MORSE values

What we are looking for

Strong working knowledge of Aviation, Safety and Training
Knowledge and familiarity of Safety, Operational, Compliance protocols
Experienced and competent trainer
Experience and knowledge of risk management
Excellent written and interpersonal skills
Robust, collaborative team player with the ability to engage at all levels
IT literacy and ability to quickly gain a working knowledge of new technology
