The part you’ll play

Provide HR support to employees, Operational Managers and the HR Shared Service Centre to support effective communication and engagement with employee plus deliver HR generalist service as part of the wider HR Team. 

  • Active engagement with employees and employee representatives through crew room visits, station meetings to enhance communication with employees, support employee wellbeing and resolution of any employee issues.
  • Provide day to day support to the management team in all aspects of HR, policies and procedures.
  • Support operations managers in following HR processes by coordinating meetings, taking minutes and tracking by each department.
  • Assist with sickness management and maintain constant communication with employee and line manager.
  • Effectively administer and log sickness and attendance following company policy.
  • Assist with station recruitment via eArcu and administer Station specific eArcu requirements.
  • Arrange and assist with recruitment assessment days.
  • Action and respond to SSC information requests.
  • Collate all required SSC paperwork on a daily basis and scan for processing.
  • Ensure all SSC daily requirements are met, collate and scan SSC paperwork.
  • Contribute to the delivery of project work from the station management and the HR Team.
  • Designated authorising officer for security ID pass applications and Car parking
  • Coordinate and control staff parking processes.
  • Manage and coordinate the referencing process by liaising with third party companies.
  • Communicate with staff, referencing provider and appropriate ID unit, ensure efficient processing and problem resolution.
  • Collate and action all internal and external mail on a daily basis.
  • Oversee, distribute information and promote on all company rewards and benefits.
  • Identify and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Oversee distribution of uniform to all staff.
  • Log and audit uniform requirements and costs.
  • Oversee and order stationary for the station on a weekly basis, log and control costs.
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested.

What you’ll need to bring:

  • Represent the company with integrity and professionally at all times.
  • Previous experience within a similar role.
  • Ability to work using own initiative and without supervision.
  • Excellent organisational, planning and administrative skills and a good eye for detail.
  • Experience of dealing with work of a confidential and sensitive nature.
  • Proficient with a working knowledge of Microsoft Packages.
  • Excellent telephone manner.

Working in an Airside role, to follow aviation security requirements, you will be required to hold a full Airside Security Pass. To obtain this we will need 5 years' full referencing history, with a Criminal Record Check.
