Human Resource Manager

Role Purpose

The HR Manager is responsible in managing and handling full HR spectrum function including Strategic planning and business information responsibilities, develop the team ensuring succession planning, people development, training compliance and a fair and just culture, resource for business growth projects, and ensuring compliance with legal and Company requirements across all areas of the business.

What you will be doing

  • Build Positive Relationships: Foster strong working relationships with managers, employees, and stakeholders while providing HR advice and guidance on policies and procedures.

  • HR Team Leadership and Compliance: Lead and develop the HR team, ensure compliance with workplace legislation, manage EA renewal processes, and deliver HR-related training in collaboration with the training department.

  • Recruitment and Employee Management: Effectively manage recruitment processes, address workplace grievances, and participate in disciplinary and performance management to meet business needs.

  • HR Administration and Reporting: Handle administrative tasks, maintain accurate HR statistics, manage employment-related documentation, and safeguard sensitive information with confidentiality.

  • Project Involvement and Training Coordination: Support new project implementations, coordinate mandatory/specialist training programs, and undertake additional duties as directed by Regional Management.

What we are looking for

  • Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of a diploma or bachelor's degree (preferably with an HR specialization) and at least 5 years of experience in an HR department, with expertise in recruitment best practices and process improvement.

  • Skills and Competencies: Strong organizational, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to deliver detailed and accurate information and manage sensitive and confidential matters.

  • Leadership and Problem-Solving: Demonstrated leadership ability to drive solutions, ensure efficiency, control costs, and influence business managers effectively within a complex, multi-disciplinary environment.

  • Adaptability and Independence: Positive, flexible approach, capable of working independently under pressure while meeting deadlines and maintaining high ethical standards.

  • Technical Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office and other computer applications, supporting efficient and effective management practices.
