Role Purpose

The Human Resources Manager will lead and support the NSW/ACT operations. This role is ideal for a strategic
HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering closely with leaders to drive
organisational performance and employee engagement.

What you will be doing

Provide strategic HR guidance to operational leaders across NSW/ACTLead employee relations matters, including performance management grievances, and workplace
investigations
Support workforce planning, talent acquisition, and continuous improvement of the employee experience
Drive culture, engagement, and retention initiatives
Support the delivery of learning and development programs
Lead HR reporting, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives across NSW/ACT stations
Ensure compliance with legislation, interpret Enterprise Agreements, and Awards
Represent NSW/ACT in the Fair Work Commission for any unfair dismissal, general protections, and stop
bullying claims
Represent in dealings with relevant unions, fostering constructive and collaborative relationships while
maintaining effective management of workplace operations
Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports, with a focus on developing a high performing and highly

What we are looking for

Demonstrated experience in an HR Manager role, or proven capability and readiness to step up into the
position.
Strong ER/IR with sound knowledge of Fair Work legislation
Ability to negotiate enterprise agreements
Confident in leading complex matters and providing high-level advice
Ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels
Highly organised, solutions focused, and resilient
Demonstrated experience in building strong working relationships
Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.
Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
