Role Purpose

The IT Asset Management (ITAM) Administrator role is to oversee the “Tooling” that the company uses for managing IT assets across the organization.

This role ensures that hardware assets are tracked, maintained, and optimized to support operational efficiency, compliance, and cost control.

What you will be doing

Maintain accurate records of all IT hardware assets (desktops, laptops, servers, peripherals, etc.) using asset management tools.
Support onboarding/offboarding processes by ensuring that the “tooling” is aligned with reality and appropriate service management tickets.
Generate reports on asset utilization, and lifecycle status for management review.
Ensure compliance with licensing, security, and regulatory requirements related to hardware assets.
Assist in developing and refining asset management policies, procedures, and best practices.
Develop weekly reporting to show progress and areas of concern.

What we are looking for:

Certification in either ITIL or IAITAM
3 years' experience in IT asset management or a similar administrative role
Proficiency with asset tracking systems (e.g., Oomnitza, ServiceNow, Lansweeper, SCCM, etc.)
Experience of working and learning within a fast-moving, changeable environment with new technology/services/infrastructure/priorities and working practices (processes).
Strong spreadsheet skills for data reconciliation
