Role Purpose

You will support the Menzies Aviation learning teams to provide a comprehensive operational learning portfolio. Working as part of the team, you will focus on our legal, regulatory, and high-risk areas within the business, this includes all ground handling functions as governed by IATA AHM, fuelling, cargo, lounges and presentation operations. You will have in-depth knowledge of our Learning Development Policy and be and subject matter expert in the content design and development. You will work with our regional teams and coordinate with our subject matter experts across the network to ensure our portfolio is in line with regional and corporate legislation and meets both our internal and customer requirements.

What you will be doing

Develop, update, and create learning content, ensuring input, review, and approval, from relevant internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Maintain and update operational procedures and learning content in line with company manuals (e.g. Ground Handling Manual (GOM) and Cargo Handling Manual, (CHM)) and industry standards such as AHM, in line with business requests.
Design and develop innovative learning interventions and training products.
Review and challenge existing learning approaches and champion new and improved methods of learning delivery.
Remain current with learning and development trends, regulatory change, and industry developments to ensure our portfolio and approach to learning remains in line with industry standards.
Ensure our portfolio is accurately maintained and aligned in all learning systems.

What we are looking for

Proficiency in Articulate 360 authoring tools.
Experience with Synthesia, Vyond, Canva and/or other animation programs.
At least 2 years of experience in working within a corporate training environment.
Intermediate knowledge of basic computing and programmes such as, Microsoft office, project planning tools, analytical systems, and learning management systems.
Ability to quickly gain a working knowledge of new technology.
