Role Purpose

You will be required to process documentation pertaining to freight and mail by clerical and computerized methods in accordance with Company procedures, and Governmental regulations. Full compliance with Company Security and H&S policies is mandatory. Responsible for all administration of the Hermes Systems

What you will be doing

Provide high-quality customer service to both internal and external customers. Address and resolve irregularities using Hermes Service Management and Service Recovery processes.
Assist customers with various queries such as but not limited to cargo tracing, BI requests, delivery details, piece counts, agent nominations, assist airline-nominated phone-out agents, assist customers with found cargo, resolving mis deliveries, etc.
Daily support for the import desk, including monitoring and updating all import shipments on the Import Pending list. Reconcile import bond checks and conduct recounts of cargo. Use Dexory (Mimi) report to assist with import bond checks.
Complete reports, including VCT, BIP list, and flight departures.
Manage Hermes admin tasks, such as updating/creating agent and consignee information, flight schedules, and standing instructions. Conduct Hermes delivery and charge checks for designated shipments.

What we are looking for

Must have AVSEC Security Level CO (old Level D) certification or higher.
Must have extensive cargo experience.
Must have excellent practical knowledge of Hermes.
Ability to plan and prioritise effectively imperative.
Ability to work effectively & efficiently to tight & flexible deadlines essential
