Role Purpose

The Operations Manager is responsible for the safe, secure and efficient day-to-day management of station operations including Ramp, ensuring the highest standards of operational performance, customer service, safety, security and financial control. The role supports the Station Manager in delivering operational excellence while ensuring compliance with company policies, international aviation standards and customer requirements.

What you will be doing

  • Manage the day-to-day operational performance of the station, ensuring safe, secure and efficient delivery of all ground handling services.
  • Lead Ramp, Baggage Handling and operational support teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Monitor operational performance and implement corrective actions to maintain service standards and contractual KPIs.
  • Coordinate all operational activities, including charter flights, irregular operations and contingency plans.
  • Ensure optimum allocation of staff, equipment and resources to meet operational demands.
  • Oversee daily operational planning and roster management to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Act as Station Duty Manager when required.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in ground handling management and operations
  • French and English speaking
  • Demonstrable experience of Health, Safety & Environmental Management.
  • Proven extensive experience in team leadership and development
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
  • Ability to prioritise work load in order of urgency and importance
