Role Purpose

You will have responsibility for the training function, delivering training, induction for new employees and ongoing training for existing employees. You will have accountability for maintaining training records, and supporting the operations, recruitment team, admin and planning with any training and planning requirements; in down time there will be a requirement that you support the team operationally when necessary.

What you will be doing

  • Working by the Menzies Training and development policy and following all procedures set out in our corporate training matrix AGOM.
  • Managing and coordinating the workload of any line trainers or OSD that work within the operations department.
  • Delivering new starter courses for TCOs
  • You will consistently always deliver the highest possible training. You will co-ordinate all training that falls under the Operations department.
  • To assist in the development of new training material that may be required due to airline requirements or new operating procedures.

What we are looking for

  • PTTLS preliminary training qualification or equivalent
  • Operational ram experience and highly skilled qualifications in all areas of operations.
  • Experience and awareness in other areas of ground handling preferred but not a necessity
  • You will need a train the trainer qualification
  • You will be able to effectively communicate, coach and mentor people of all ages and backgrounds
