Role Purpose

The role is responsible to support the team to ensure exceptional customer service and on time assistance to all passengers and their baggage for arriving and departing customer airlines. Furthermore, the role requires to work with team and supervisor in relation with check in, boarding, lounge, meet & assist and mishandled baggage or delivery as per the departmental / client airline's standard operating procedures. In addition, perform other related duties as directed by the immediate superior

What you will be doing

  • Assign schedules, monitor work, and ensure compliance to SOP; escalate operational problems and team issues wherever applicable to supervisor.
  • Guide and monitor staff on all operational parameters and assist in team briefings when necessary
  • Support supervisors and participate in preparation of reports and relay of timely information as needed.
  • Ensure serviceability of the equipment and monitor grooming standards of team
  • Monitor special/specific requirements of Airlines assigned.
  • Accountable and responsible for quality, safety, security and environment management within their area of responsibilities including risk assessments and incident investigations; also responsible to report workplace hazards, near misses, incidents and accidents
  • Responsible for internal and external audits in coordination with station QHSE departments and follow corrective action

What we are looking for

  • Diploma, Bachelors' degree preferable
  • Minimum 3-5 years of team leading experience
  • Knowledge of airline and related systems and applications, including departure control system; lounge & hospitality, food safety and standards and DGR certification.
  • Customer service orientation and punctuality
  • Language Skills: Knowledge of oral and written English and local language as indicated.
