Role Purpose

Provide employees with the required knowledge and skillset for the Passenger Services Operations, as well as supporting employees' development.

What you will be doing

  • Coordinate and conduct induction training for new employees, emphasising safety, security, work health and safety, customer service standards, check-in requirements and all CSO functional requirements.
  • To control and coordinate record-keeping of all training data & re-certification dates, ensuring that staff maintain validity of certification & compliance standards are met.
  • Conduct airline specific training as required.
  • Responsible for overseeing assessments & performance standards, production & update of training manuals / materials / training courses & programs.
  • Assist in the evaluation of staff progress, performance & development and the compilation of performance statistics whilst identifying staff training requirements.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture within the workforce, driving OH&S & security awareness & compliance.
  • To control & co-ordinate company quality assurance documentation, including the compilation & writing of if required, and to undertake
  • Undertake other operational and general duties in accordance with the requirements of the business.
  • Work down as directed.

What we are looking for

  • Sound computer and word processing skills to produce or update training manuals; create and update spreadsheets and maintain training records
  • Ability to demonstrate good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi task
  • Previous training experience will be an advantage although access to achieve the ‘Train the Trainer' qualification will be provided
  • Sound knowledge of Menzies' operations is desirable
  • Initiative and proven ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A high degree of expertise in multiple carrier DCS systems and general Operational procedures.
  • Effective coaching and performance management skills.
  • An ability to lead by example.
  • An ability to prioritise & manage a concentrated workload.
