Role Purpose

To assist the Training Coordinator with the planning and delivering of training courses for both new and existing employees ensuring compliance with Menzies Aviation standard operating procedures. Establish and maintain a safe working environment in line with Health & Safety and Security policies of Menzies Aviation and Airport Authorities. The role will encompass all areas of our Airside operations including Ramp, Cargo, Bag Hall, Presentation and De-icing. Training will be provided where necessary.  

What you will be doing

  • Plan, develop and implement strategy for staff training and development, establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of staff training and development 
  • Assess relevant training needs for staff individuals and organisation, in consultation with department heads, including assessment methods and measurement systems entailed 
  • Stay informed as to the relevant skills and qualification levels required by staff for effective performance, and circulate requirements and relevant information to the organisation as appropriate 
  • Plan and deliver training course personally where necessary to augment that provided externally or internally by others 
  • Maintain and enhance a safe and secure culture within all departments

What we are looking for

  • Must have a minimum of 36 months of operations or training experience in their disciplines of training ( or locally approved equivalent standard) 
  • Good Communications skills in working with a diverse group of people. Diversity includes education, literacy, position within the company and related diverse backgrounds.
  • Proof of Right To Work in the UK
  • Criminal Record Check and Airside Security Clearance
  • Full and valid UK Driving Licence
