The part you’ll play

The Process and Procedure Documentation Co-ordinator forms a key part of the Operational Excellence team. The role mainly focuses on the documentation of business processes and procedures working within a senior stakeholder group.

Key aspects of the placement include:

  • Identification of opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driver changes; assisting in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes.
  • Consultation with functional team management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.
  • Planning, organizing and conducting business process reengineering/improvement projects and/or management reviews of existing or future business work streams.
  • Tracking and documenting changes for functional and business specifications; writing detailed universally understood procedures for permanent records and for use in training.
  • Assisting in the development and overall change management strategy for the business.
  • Assisting in the definition and documentation of customer business functions and processes.
  • Researching and preparing KPI statistical reports using data from internal / external systems.
  • Consolidation of information into cohesive and understandable reports or other written forms for use in management decision-making.
  • Acting as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical analysts, information technology analysts, consultants and other external organizations in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of case management systems to ensure optimal operational performance.
  • Performance of regular compliance reviews against formally documented processes and the subsequent follow-up of non-compliance at station / unit / regional level.
  • Providing work direction to all areas of the business or acting as a team lead on designated projects or assignments.
  • Support the ongoing Operational Excellence projects as and when required.

What you’ll need to bring:

  • Excellent communication and management skills.
  • Significant knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g. Word, Visio, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to deliver against key performance targets.
  • Interest in process management and standards.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Strong interest in Aviation.
  • Previous experience in Aviation would be advantageous.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Fluency in additional languages would be advantageous, particularly Spanish.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom.
