The part you’ll play

  • Ensure staffing is adequate and sufficient for schedule and raise any deviations to your line manager in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure that all staff adheres to company uniform/PPE standards and ALL mobile phones are left in their respective lockers.
  • Ensure that all late/sick/awol staff is recorded/slips issued appropriately for follow up.
  • Ensure that the appropriate staff is allocated to baggage chutes/sorting area informing the Dock Allocator.
  • Ensure all equipment is serviceable and all defects reported from nightshift handover including but not limited to, radios, headsets, leads and pins.
  • Ensure Kit bags (h/set, lead, radio and pin) are signed out/in by Team Leaders.
  • Ensure that all GSE that is defected and reported correctly and logged onto the TCR system.
  • Allocate Teams to flights and ensure skill sets are appropriate.
  • Ensure Teams are on stand no later than STD -40 for preloading of FW and STA - 5 for all Turns and TCO briefing.
  • Ensure all Team Leaders are in possession of all LIRFs for First Wave aircraft.
  • Ensure effective communication is maintained at all times with appropriate etiquette.
  • Ensure that you and your Team Leaders have read, understood and signed off the latest SOP’S, Briefing Notes, SI’S Memo’s and SLS and brief their teams.
  • Ensure that effective communication is maintained at all times during shift with Ground Ops Officers (GOO’S) and Ramp DM/ADM.
  • Ensure that vehicles are fuelled and cleared of FOD for every shift change over.
  • Ensure that all tows and air starts are logged.
  • Full compliance of Airline and Ground Handling Manuals and Airport Disruption management policy.
  • Ensure all Job Sheets are fully completed when returned and all delays accounted for by a report before end of shift.
  • On Late shift, ensure all job allocations are completed for First Wave.
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested by your Line Manager.

  • You will be flexible in your approach and comfortable working in a constantly changing environment.
  • You will be able to effectively communicate with people of all ages, from all back grounds and at all levels.
  • You will be able to manage staff effectively to provide operational cover.
  • You will be proactive and forward thinking.

Working in an Airside role, to follow aviation security requirements, you will be required to hold a full Airside Security Pass. To obtain this we will need 5 years' full referencing history, with a Criminal Record Check.
