Role Purpose

To ensure the highest standards of safety and quality performance during each shift, supporting the operations and acting as a role model for our safety and quality standards.

Main Accountabilities

  • Conduct operational inspections
  • Log anomalies in airlines/Menzies system (MORSE) and evaluate the quality of Menzies' performance on each shift.
  • Support the Risk Department with investigations and other relevant tasks related to incidents from the designated shift.
  • Act as a driver and role model for our safety and quality standards, taking ownership and responsibility for the designated shift.
  • Collaborate with team members to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff.
  • Support consistent and compliant use of digital tools on the ramp.
  • Oversee allocation, condition and availability of operational PDAs and tablets.
  • Ensure proper handling, charging and storage of in line with safety and operational standards
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company/ airline policies.
  • Participate in safety and quality meetings, contributing ideas and feedback for improvement.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist in investigating safety reports
  • Identify risks and trends on the ramp and infrastructure during safety walks.
  • Promote safety and quality during pre-shift/flight briefings.
  • Document and escalate incidents and hazards to the Ramp DM / Risk Department promptly.
  • Summarize shift challenges and preventive actions taken as and when needed.
  • Provide operational support if needed to ensure safe and effective workflow.

  • Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents or dangerous occurrences to their manager / supervisor, who will then follow the procedures contained in the HSE and Security manuals.
  • Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific health, wellbeing, safety and security rules or procedures.
  • Fully understand the Company Health & Safety and Security policies.
  • Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company

What you will be doing:

What we are looking for

  • At least 2 years of experience in aviation/logistics. 
  • Professional representation of Menzies Aviation and customer airlines. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Organized, flexible, and efficient in task prioritization, and proficient in Microsoft Office. 
  • Right to work in Denmark and ability to hold an airport ID badge.
  • Preferred: Loading Supervisor, Training competence, towing, safety and compliance experience.
