What you will be doing

Lead and manage a team of ramp personnel, ensuring efficient shift scheduling and adequate staffing levels.
Ensure efficient and safe handling aircraft, including loading and unloading, towing, and parking.
Oversee the timely and secure transfer of baggage, ensuring compliance with all safety and security regulations.
Manage and maintain ground support equipment (GSE) to ensure operational readiness and safety.
Ensure all ramp operations adhere to local, national and international aviation regulations and standards.
Implement and monitor safety protocols to prevent accidents and incidents on the ramp.
Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
Address and resolve any team conflicts or operational issues promptly and effectively.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Optimize the use of resources, including staff, equipment, and time, to ensure cost effective operations.
Oversee the use of technology in ramp operations, ensuring systems are up to date and functioning effectively.
Promote and implement environmentally sustainable practices within ramp operations to reduce the carbon footprint and support the organization's environmental goals.

What we are looking for

Diploma or degree in aviation or any related field.
10 years relevant work experience.
