What you will be doing

  • Lead and manage a team of ramp personnel, ensuring efficient shift scheduling and adequate staffing levels.
  • Ensure efficient and safe handling aircraft, including loading and unloading, towing, and parking.
  • Oversee the timely and secure transfer of baggage, ensuring compliance with all safety and security regulations.
  • Manage and maintain ground support equipment (GSE) to ensure operational readiness and safety.
  • Ensure all ramp operations adhere to local, national and international aviation regulations and standards.
  • Implement and monitor safety protocols to prevent accidents and incidents on the ramp.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Address and resolve any team conflicts or operational issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Optimize the use of resources, including staff, equipment, and time, to ensure cost effective operations.
  • Oversee the use of technology in ramp operations, ensuring systems are up to date and functioning effectively.
  • Promote and implement environmentally sustainable practices within ramp operations to reduce the carbon footprint and support the organization's environmental goals.
  • All other related as assigned.

What we are looking for

  • Diploma or degree in aviation or any related field.
  • 10 years relevant work experience.
