Role Purpose

The role is responsible to manage ramp operational services to conform with service delivery standards for each airline by ensuring safe on time turnaround process and assigned aircraft handling activities are performed as per departmental SOP. Furthermore, the role requires supervising the team in relation to all ramp services as per the departmental standard operating procedures following QHSE norms & standards.

What you will be doing

Responsible for assigning, scheduling and monitoring duties for all team members along with monitor staff attendance, staff allocation, break-time, shift schedules and flight disruptions.
Monitor overall ramp loading/offloading activities of various customer airlines as per SOP; Identify and resolve shortages related to manpower & other resources as per client airline procedures.
Conduct all necessary checks related to cargo loading/offloading as per SOP's; ensure priority baggage, mail, courier and cargo is offloaded as per airline procedure
Ensure ramp activities are completed within the precision time, safety and the service delivery standards are met for each customer airline; when required, directly supervise activities for specific flights
Check equipment restricted area is clear to receive inbound aircraft, ensure serviceability & positioning of all required equipment; check & confirm aircrafts are chocked, coned according to the airline procedure and visually inspect cargo hold doors & seals within respect timelines.
Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers in relation to offloading/ loading and refueling for meeting deadlines

What we are looking for

Bachelor in any discipline
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in ramp handling in similar role
Communication, Team work and Interpersonal skills
Computer skills and proficiency in job related applications
Language Skills: Knowledge of oral and written English and local language.
Customer focus and safety awareness
Knowledge of ramp handling and operations, and weights and balances for various aircraft types
Valid Driving license
