Role Purpose

The Recruitment Intern will support the attraction and hiring process by organising and streamlining recruitment activities. This individual will work closely with the Central Recruitment Manager, Communications team, hiring managers and candidates, to ensure an efficient and positive recruitment experience. The role requires a self starter with a passion for, and a comprehensive understanding of social media engagement. They must have exceptional organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly effective recruitment function and gain some valuable experience of recruiting across a diverse global network.

This role will be a 12-month fixed term internship.

 

What you will be doing

  • Coordinate communication with candidates, including scheduling interviews and providing status updates.
  • Support the creation of recruitment marketing material in line with Menzies Aviation communications standards
  • Lead on attraction campaigns and advertisement through social media forums.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Manage recruitment approvals in line with Central recruitment approval processes.
  • Maintain and update our applicant tracking system (eArcu) to track and document recruitment activities.
  • Draft and post job advertisements on various platforms.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms and HR software is a plus.
  • Passion and engagement for social media and full understanding of social media platforms
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools.
