Role Purpose

To manage all Cargo and ATK revenue account requirements for London Heathrow, ensuring compliance with Company and Government rules, Procedures and Standards. Ensuring accurate and timely invoicing to our Customer Airlines and import agents. Being responsible for revenue capture and reporting to Head of Cargo – UK

What you will be doing

    • Responsible for Revenue Accounts team to ensure work allocation completed, Data and revenue checked prior to invoicing airlines and import agents.
    • Line manage Revenue Accounts Team, monitor staff work completion to ensure daily, weekly and monthly deadlines met.
    • Ensure staff are up to date with individual Airlines/Agents charging requirements, in-line with contracts and published tariff rates.
    • Liaising with Senior Managers, airline customers, import agents and Government agencies to ensure reacting to questions, queries and enquiries,
    • Recording daily revenue, tonnes and yield ready for Weekly Flash Reports.
    • Providing daily updates on revenue position to date for Cargo and Weekly for Airside Trucking.
    • Reviewing Month End results for Cargo and ATK and reporting comparisons against forecast and budget expectations.
    • Completing accruals, reconciling revenue accounts, issuing contract credits and completing adhoc invoicing where required.
    • Provide support to Head of Cargo, ensuring full awareness of new business opportunities, departmental concerns, accounts and customer issues.
    • Support Credit Control with any invoice issues and queries, to ensure payments can be made to account credit criteria.
    • Updating Hermes with customer contract rates, charge rules and new published tariff rates.
    • Preparing and approving supplier invoices in Ipos.
    • Answering questions from Auditors for Mid Year and End of Year Revenue Accounts Audits.
    • Creating Forecasts and Budgets for Cargo and Airside Trucking when requested.
    • Any other ad hoc task deemed reasonable by Head of Cargo.

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years, in a cargo operation
  • Experience in P&L management and managing cost
  • Proven track record of delivery of projects in scope and in budget
  • Proven track record of delivery against KPIs and SLA's
  • Must be able to work under pressure.
  • Good customer service and organisational skills.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel as a minimum
