Overview

This role will have responsibility for driving commercial success within a specific region.  Responsibilities include generating sales leads, developing and executing sales presentations, proposals and RFP responses – across different product areas apart from cargo and fuels (which will have a separate sales focus). The emphasis will be on delivering high win rates on both renewals and new business opportunities

Main Accountabilities Include:

  • Working with station and regional teams to develop the sales pipeline
  • Inputting key information and targets to the regional sales plan
  • Generating new sales leads and horizon-scanning for future opportunities
  • Creating and delivering high quality sales collateral to assist sales pitches and presentations
  • Implementing customer engagement plans, ensuring required frequencies of contact are met
  • Managing sales opportunities for RFP processes or unsolicited proposals with the aim of securing as high a win rate as possible
  • Preparing internal sales reports and presenting, as required, in major bid review meetings and sales reviews
  • Developing a network of contacts to understand current and emerging market needs and trends

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A sales focussed individual with a proven track record in delivering sales and commercial opportunities
  • Strong customer-orientation and understanding of customer demands
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Impressive sales background with a history of success
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, with a flexible attitude to working hours
  • A hands-on mentality with very good negotiating skills
