Our Sales Representative will mainly be purpose is to grow our current customers and drive growth as well as sales initiatives to achieve that goal. The Sales Representative will build and maintain solid relationships with existing and potential
customers. The Sales Representative is expected to understand the needs of the customer, foster strong relationships internally and externally and drive the sales strategy for AMI in their locations of responsibility. Much of the SR's time is customer facing on the road.
Do you bring a strong network of agents and freight forwarders both locally and internationally?
Our offices are based in the Menzies Building at Schiphol Airport.
You will however need to travel within the country as well as Belgium for frequent customer visists.
• Proven senior sales executive / business development with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales
position with a GSA and/or airline, preferably also freight forwarder industry experience but not essential.
• A self-starter who possesses strong customer-orientation and understanding of customer needs.
• Self-motivated, disciplined and a proven success in relationship development, with a flexible attitude to working
hours.
• Good analytical skills.
• Smart appearance and ability to interact/liaise with management on all levels and professional at all times.
• Minimum MBO and preferential finish HBO education level with a focus on transport/logistics.
• Good knowledge of all modes of transport including Air Freight and Express Movements
• Excellent communication skills both written & verbal.
• Must have on-the-road sales experience with good negotiation skills.
• Must be able to drive and possess a Driver's licence.
• Dutch and English language skills are mandatory, German and French are a benefit.
• Strives to understand the customer and their needs and able to provide solutions for customers.
• Builds trust easily, especially with customers.
• Displays a high level of customer service and maturity when dealing with customers.
• Possess gravitas and have the ability to talk positively about our products and services.
• Has motivational and inspirational presence.

All staff working for AMI require a screening by the Koninklijke Marechaussee.
