Role Purpose

The role is responsible for ensuring accurate, complete, and compliant revenue billing through effective administration of the Cargo Handling system and reconciliation with the Accounting system. It safeguards revenue integrity by capturing all billable services, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining strong financial controls across cargo and operational billing processes. The position ensures full adherence to Norwegian bookkeeping regulations while supporting timely financial reporting, audits, and monthend activities. Serving as a key link between operations, finance, and customers, the role secures accurate data flow, efficient issue resolution, and seamless revenue processes. 

What you will be doing

  • Prepare and process customer invoices accurately within the MACH billing system in line with contractual and operational data.
  • Ensure all ground handling, cargo handling, and related services are fully captured and billed correctly.
  • Verify operational data inputs prior to invoicing to maintain accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and update customer billing profiles, contracts, and rate structures in MACH.
  • Investigate, resolve, and document billing discrepancies in cooperation with operations and commercial teams.

What we are looking for

  • Accounting background with relevant education and/or formal bookkeeping experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Norwegian Accounting Laws, including Bokføringsloven and Bokføringsforskriften.
  • Fluency in English and Norwegian (other Scandinavian language skills are an advantage)
  • Extensive cargo industry experience, preferably within cargo handling, cargo documentation, or cargo revenue processes.
  • Demonstrated practical knowledge of end‑to‑end cargo operations, systems, and workflows.
