Role Purpose

Reporting directly to the EVP Americas and working in close cooperation with existing regional reporting structures, the SVP Cargo will have accountability and oversight for all cargo activity, revenue and yield development, growth planning and M&A opportunities across the region. In existing cargo locations, the role will have accountability for operational performance, safety and security, ensuring that all defined KPI targets are achieved in line with budget and performance specifications agreed with EVP Americas, Regional Management and Cargo Station Managers.

 

What you will be doing

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, such as customers, partners, and suppliers
  • Representing the organization at high-level meetings and negotiations
  • Managing budgets, financial planning and forecasting, and performance metrics
  • Communicate with senior management and keeping them updated on important matters related to the business unit or functional area
  • Acting as a liaison between different departments and functional areas within the organization
  • Manage P&L, revenue, and expenses, of the business unit

What we are looking for

  • Demonstrable cargo product or business development experience
  • Demonstrable experience of the air cargo market.
  • Experience of working in complex organisations with a global footprint and diverse structures.
  • Degree-level education highly desirable.
