Role Purpose

As a Sustainability Officer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing sustainable practices within our organisation. You will be responsible for analysing our current operations, identifying areas for improvement, and 
strategizing and implementing initiatives that reduce our environmental impact.

The goal is to enhance our organisation's overall sustainability performance, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

 

What you will be doing

  • Conduct thorough assessments of the Menzies Aviation's current environmental and sustainability impact across our various operations.
  • Set clear sustainability goals and targets, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Ensure the organization's compliance with relevant environmental laws and standards.
  • Develop and deliver sustainability training programs for employees to raise awareness and promote a culture of sustainability.
  • Collect, analyse, and report data on sustainability performance.
  • Prepare regular reports for management, identifying trends, areas of improvement, and key performance indicators.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing sustainability programs.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and standards.
  • Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.
  • Knowledge of sustainable business practices and emerging trends.
