Role Purpose

This role is responsible for developing and delivering different courses to the concerned departments and work with partners, internal & external customers as well as employees to package best practices into training courses. Furthermore, the role supports the overall enablement initiative with input into certification and documentation

 

What you will be doing

  • Coordinates and participate in the development and implementation of training syllabi, course schedules, training aids and updating of control manuals & maintenance of expendable supplies and liaison & follow up with concerned departments regarding course planning and training budgets
  • Coordinate with commercial and outstation heads for developing yearly prep-planned course schedules through yearly & ad hoc meetings for reviewing accomplishments and identifying areas requiring increased coverage or modification
  • Identify instructor development programs and training schemes as needed for enhancing instructor expertise and increasing familiarity with new systems, methods or equipment; identify and recommend advanced or specialized training vendors or other airline companies with such capabilities.
  • Participate in overseeing candidate instructors' course preparation; evaluate their performance suitability with training manager, identify and develop employee trainers for on-the-job training programs.
  • Evaluate on-the-job trainer candidates and programs, recommend to training manager, coach and mentor accepted trainers and follows up at work site to discuss problems and evaluate performance for preparing reports and recommendations

What we are looking for

  • University degree holder or IATA Certification in related operations field
  • Minimum 3-5 years' operational experience and 1-2 years related experience as an Instructor (is recommended)
  • Excellent technical knowledge, Field experience
  • Innovative thinker, team player and highly resilient.
  • Ability to work under guidance & supervision; able to motivate & influence.
