Role Purpose

The position of Training & Quality Manager will be responsible for all matters relating to training and quality in the airport environment, but a special focus on management and oversight of the training programme

What you will be doing

  • To deliver all required training to the highest possible standard in line with the Menzies Learning and Development Policy and to ensure records and compliance are kept up to date and accurate.
  • Effective communication with the FOH Duty Manager and Training and Quality Lead to ensure staff are available for the observation and assessments.
  • Gather and process all data and documentation necessary for the fulfilment of the success of the Training Department by manual, automated or computerized systems including report writing.
  • To demonstrate a great level of flexibility in attending and delivering the company and airline courses by existing and future airline customers.
  • To attend any courses that will be required by Menzies Aviation to enable them to carry out regulatory and mandatory training on behalf of Menzies Aviation worldwide.

What we are looking for

  • Must possess thorough knowledge of DFT regulations, the H & S Act and other compliances required.
  • Must be pro-active and forward thinking.
  • Must have excellent time keeping and attendance record.
  • Must be flexible and be able to time manage their working day
  • Airline knowledge specific to the airlines handled at LHR.
