Role Purpose

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Travel Management Intern to join our dynamic team within Menzies Aviation. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for travel operations, data analysis, and project support. You will work closely with the Corporate Travel & Events Manager to support the development, implementation, and improvement of travel management policies, systems and strategic initiatives across the organisation

This role is a 12-month fixed term contract.

 

What you will be doing

  • Gather and analyse data from various internal and external sources
  • Assist in compiling reports on travel spending, supplier performance, policy compliance, and travel patterns
  • Identify trends and provide insights to support decision-making
  • Support the review and updating of corporate travel policies
  • Assist with creating communication materials related to corporate travel and updates
  • Assist in coordinating travel management initiatives and projects
  • Track project progress, prepare documentation, and maintain project timelines
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (HR, Procurement, Finance, Operations) to gather relevant input

What we are looking for

  • Currently pursuing or hold a degree in Business Administration, Travel & Tourism, Aviation Management, or related field
  • Strong interest in corporate travel management and aviation services
  • Excellent analytical and research skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (Power BI or Tableau is a plus)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
