Role Purpose

The Vice President - Mexico is the senior executive fully accountable for Menzies Aviation's business in Mexico. The role carries end-to-end responsibility for operational performance, financial results, customer relationships, organizational leadership, and the overall positioning of the company in one of the most strategic and complex markets in the region.

The VP Mexico acts as the ultimate owner of service delivery, operational resilience, and stakeholder confidence, ensuring the business performs consistently despite high operational volatility, labor challenges, peak-season pressure, and an evolving political and regulatory environment.

 

What you will be doing

  • Full accountability for the Mexico P&L, including revenue growth, cost control, margins, and cash discipline.
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable ground handling operations across all stations.
  • Lead and develop a large, multi-site workforce through a strong and credible local leadership team.
  • Serve as the primary executive point of contact for key airline customers in Mexico.
  • Represent Menzies Aviation with airport authorities, regulators, unions, and relevant public or private institutions.
  • Lead disciplined, profitable growth in Mexico in close coordination with the regional and global commercial teams.

What we are looking for

  • Spanish as first (native) language.
  • Proven experience as a Country Manager, Managing Director, or equivalent senior leadership role.
  • Extensive background in aviation, airport services, or similarly complex, safety-critical operations.
  • Demonstrated ownership of a full P&L in a multi-site, labor-intensive environment.
  • Strong credibility with international airline customers and senior stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of ramp and ground handling operations.
