Role Purpose

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Services Supervisor to join our Sydney AAS team on a permanent full-time basis.

What you will be doing

  • Manage other employees and undertake administrative and management responsibilities.

  • Assume full responsibility for a section group over a weekly work period.

  • Responsible for a major portfolio which includes one major airline customer and minor portfolios as allocated by the General Manager.

  • Ensure that productivity and performance criteria are met, which includes fulfilling regular performance assessment reports.

  • Organising, supervising and training staff.

  • Overall responsibility for all customer airline flights and servicing requirements across the shift pattern.

  • Demonstrating leadership, decision making and organising skills necessary to efficiently meet performance requirements in a changing work environment.

  • Making recommendations on all aspects of the operation, seeking to identify opportunities to improve performance and productivity.

  • Undertaking various administrative and reporting duties, including the operation of various communication and computer aids.

  • Additional duties as requested by the General Manager Ground Handling – NSW & ACT.

What we are looking for

  • Competency in the skills requirement to perform work for a level SO6 and below.

  • Ability to maintain a valid ASIC and ADA Cat 2.

  • Efficient computer and typing skills.

  • Professional and courteous communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • High level attention to detail.

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi task.

  • A positive, can-do attitude.

  • Ability to problem solve and complete work accurately within a fast-paced environment.

  • Sound numerical skills.

  • Ability to work cohesively in a team environment.

  • Demonstrated leadership and/or supervisory experience.
