Role Purpose

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our dynamic UK&I finance team. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in financial operations, analysis, and reporting while contributing to meaningful projects that support the company's strategic objectives.

This position will start in June 2025 and is a 12-month fixed term contract.

 

What you will be doing

  • Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process by analysing data and preparing variance reports.
  • Conduct research and analysis on market trends, financial metrics, and investment opportunities.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
  • Help with accounts payable and receivable tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

What we are looking for

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting
